CHILDREN at Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool in Wilmslow have been using objects to make marks in an exercise part of the organisation’s Growing Artists enhancement.

The children used the wheels on toy cars to roll in paint and watched as they made patterns on the paper.

Bright Horizons’ Growing Artists enhancement aims to encourage creativity in art.

“The children were very excited to create a variety of patterns with the wheels using the paint and paper,” said Angela Brandwood-Greene, nursery manager.

Children have also been improving their sensory skills by attending a themed class.

They attended the local toddler sense class, where they enjoyed sensory activities including lights, balls and music. They also enjoyed a magic show.

“Toddler sense is a fun way to enhance the children’s physical skills and spatial awareness while having fun with our friends,” added Angela.
