A BY-ELECTION has been called to fill a position on Birchwood Town Council.
A town councillor vacancy has opened up for the Locking Stumps ward following the resignation of Estelle Linney.
Warrington Borough Council, which is responsible for any election procedures, confirmed it has received a valid request for an election.
It will be held on March 15.
