A HARVESTER restaurant near to the town centre has shut permanently.
The chain’s eatery on Riverside Retail Park has been closed, with members of staff offered jobs at other branches – including the Harvester at Gemini Retail Park.
A spokesman said: “After much consideration, we have taken the decision to close Harvester Riverside.
“We are already having conversations with the team and have offered them job opportunities in our other restaurants nearby.
“We want to thank all our customers for their support and, for our Harvester fans, our next nearest restaurant is Harvester Apollo at Gemini Retail Park.”
