TWO people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in a house in Stockton Heath last night.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Victoria Road at around 6.45pm on Monday, January 8, following reports of a blaze involving a cooker which had been left unattended.
Three fire engines were dispatched to the scene to tackle the blaze, with two casualties suffering from smoke inhalation.
Crews administered oxygen to one of the casualties, before leaving both in the care of the North West Ambulance Service – although neither required hospital treatment.
