WARRINGTON vet Stacey Blease has been appointed as one of three new trustees on the board of the Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF).
Stacey will be responsible for moving the charity forward with its mission, providing strategic direction, ensuring its financial stability and compliance with legal and charitable regulations, and safeguarding its brand and reputation.
AWF is a vet-led charity that funds research, supports veterinary education, provides pet care advice and encourages debate on animal welfare issues.
Stacey said: “I feel excited and privileged in becoming a trustee for the foundation and look forward to contributing to AWF’s projects. As an AWF trustee, I would like to empower vets and animal owners with the knowledge they need to adequately meet the health and welfare needs of animals in their care.”
