A man has been arrested on suspicion of trying to smuggle drugs into HMP Risley.
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of trying to smuggle drugs into Risley prison.
The male was arrested at HMP Risley shortly before 10.30am today, Saturday, on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply.
He is alleged to have attempted to pass an item to a prisoner during a visit, but was seen doing so by members of staff.
