A MAN is in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries after being attacked in Bewsey.
Detectives from Cheshire Police are appealing for information after a serious attack at around 8pm on Tuesday, December 19.
Two men, aged 30 and 20, were walking across a field towards Bagot Avenue when the former was assaulted by three men who then fled the scene.
He is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries in Warrington Hospital having been hit in the head during the attack.
The attackers are described as being around 5ft10 in height, with one of the men wearing a coat with the hood up.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 398 of December 19, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
