STOCKTON Heath-based Emerald Bay Construction have finished work on the £5 million conversion of former offices at Kings Court into apartments.

Kings Court on Scotland Road, which was previously a disused office block, now comprises of 32 loft-style apartments offering views of the townscape from large, floor to ceiling windows.

The multi-million pound design has been overseen by London interior design agency Gunter & Co.

Lettings and viewings are now being taken for residences priced at rentals of between £500 and £950pcm.

Apartments are available either furnished or unfurnished.

The first tenants are signed up and will be taking up residence prior to Christmas.

Adam Jude, director at James Peacock Property who are managing agents for the property, said: “This is a very exciting project which Emerald Bay has brought forward and is the first phase in a larger residential development plan in the town centre.

“These are high quality, aspirational properties which we believe is something that has not been seen in Warrington before.

“James Peacock are a Warrington-based business and it is delighted to be a part of the ongoing regeneration of our town centre.”

Cllr Terry O’Neill, leader of Warrington Borough Council, added: “A key objective within Warrington’s framework for growth is to repopulate the town centre and the Kings Court development is one of the largest residential development projects that has been brought forward in decades.

“It is great to see these companies investing in the future of Warrington.”
