WARRINGTON Museum is set to host an exhibition celebrating the 70th birthday of the NHS.
The Health Revolution will tell the story of how the NHS changed healthcare services in the town and look into the history of its main hospital, including Warrington Infirmary, Warrington General and Winwick Hospital.
Held from Saturday, March 24, and Saturday, July 7, the free exhibition will be held as part of celebrations to mark 70 years of the NHS in 2018.
Warrington Museum is hoping to collect the memories of residents who have worked in the NHS, and to loan pictures and objects – including uniforms and medical equipment – to feature in the exhibition.
Submissions from both before and after the NHS was formed are welcomed.
