GUESTS at a Las Vegas-themed ball raised almost £100,000 for the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust near Lymm.

Partygoers were joined by patrons Noddy and Suzan Holder, John Thomson, Melanie Bishop and Catherine Kingston.

Around 300 guests attended the charity’s 20th annual ball at Mere Golf Resort and Spa.

Coronation Street star Sally Carman was joined by fellow Shameless actor Aaron McCusker to draw the raffle where prizes included a luxury three-night break at Ellenborough Park in the Costwolds, a trio of afternoon teas and even a 4.5 litre bottle of whisky.

Events fundraiser Pippa Watton said: "This was such a wonderful night – our guests really are the best.

"Our staff and volunteers work so hard on this event and it's so rewarding for us all to see everyone having such a great time.

"Every year we are blown away by the generosity of our guests and this year was no exception.

"To raise almost £100,000 in just one night is astounding.

"This money will make such a huge difference to the children visiting us here at the adventure farm."
