A DETERMINED seven-year-old who is on a mission to do all he can to 'save animals' has raised £140 for two charities.

Latchford resident Joshua McCann, who attends Alderman Bolton Community Primary School, has been busy making gift boxes and crafts before selling them to raise funds for Warrington Animal Welfare and the RSPCA.

Proud mum Jackie said: "He is always really positive about everything.

"He wants to save animals and help them get homed."

Jackie also praised Jeni Jacques-Williams, who runs Lemon Studio in Grappenhall, after she invited Joshua into the site to set up a table to sell the items.

In total, £120 has been given to Warrington Animal Welfare and £20 to the RSPCA.
