A CARE provider has increased its efficiency by a fifth and boosted productivity by 10 per cent after introducing paperless technology.

Catalyst Choices, which provides adult care services to around 700 residents in the town, has introduced new Housing Support Pro payroll systems.

Last year, the community interest company was still using some of Warrington Borough Council’s systems having taken over the running over several of its care homes in 2015.

But chief executive David Osborne believes Catalyst Choices is now benefitting from its new paperless technology.

He said: “I felt that we could get more from our existing resources as the basis for growing and modernising our business.

“Our IT journey with Housing Support Pro has been about taking back control from Warrington Borough Council and making our IT systems work better to match our aims – we’ve achieved what we set out to do.

“Housing Support Pro’s solutions offer tangible financial benefits – the biggest saving has been in improved systems, productivity and effectiveness as we no longer have to go through a third party to resolve any issues.”
