CHRISTMAS may be less than two weeks away but there is still chance to give an extra present to a child who really needs it.

Storage King, based on Colville Court, just behind LA Bowl, has organised the appeal backed by the Warrington Guardian to provide gifts to The Children's Adventure Farm Trust near Lymm for the 800 children who will visit them at their base.

New toys and gifts for all ages are required by the charity as it will be providing parties for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.

Gifts can be dropped off at five drop off points around the town including The Entertainer at Golden Square.

Marc Howarth, from Storage King, visited with daughter, Arabella to thank the staff there for their support.

He said: “We’re so grateful to all of our drop off points for their help with this year’s toy appeal, we couldn’t do this without their support.

"The toy appeal has really captured the imagination of everyone involved. It’s the most festive build up to Christmas I have experienced due to this great charity and the work they do.

"The generosity of the people of Warrington has been fantastic, but I think we can do more and really make this Christmas something very special.”

Toys can be dropped off at: Storage King on Colville Court, Warrington Guardian offices near the Village Hotel, The Entertainer at Golden Square, The Jungle on Pinner’s Brow ad The Balloon & Gift Boutique on Horsemarket Street.

The appeal will continue throughout December, collecting toys for children with terminal illnesses, disabilities and those from disadvantaged backgrounds who will be enjoying a rare day of fun thanks to the charity.
