COUNCILLORS are expected to approve plans to convert former council offices in the town centre into a restaurant next week.
Proposals submitted to Warrington Borough Council seek to gain planning permission for a change of use of the building on Cairo Street.
The former council offices – neighbouring the Cairo Street Unitarian Chapel and at the rear of the soon-to-be-demolished Garnett’s Cabinet Works – are earmarked for an Italian restaurant.
Warrington Borough Council’s development management committee will meet at the Town Hall on Wednesday, November 29, to debate the plans – with councillors recommended to approve the scheme.
