SANTA will be out and about in Fairfield and Howley in the run up to Christmas.

He will arrive at St Elphin’s Park next Saturday, December 2 with plenty of entertainment from 6pm.

Visitors can enjoy games, activities and entertainment between 6pm and 8pm. There will be disco dancing, balloon modelling and you can make ceramic Christmas logs and Christmas decorations.

While one of Santa’s escort elves will be telling exciting stories.

A ticket to see Santa is £3.50 while refreshments will be available throughout the evening including Bratwurst, Gluhwein, home-made cakes and a tuck shop for the younger ones.

There will be side show attractions: Knock Santa down the Chimney, Tin Can Alley and many others.

Meanwhile Santa will take to the streets for two weeks around Fairfield and Howley area, from Tuesday, December 5.

Look out for him on:

  •  Tuesday, December 5 at Howley and Riverside Point.
  •  Wednesday, December 6 at St Peter’s Way area
  •  Monday, December 11 at Harrison Place
  •  Tuesday, December 12 at Oakwood Avenue area
  •  Wednesday, December 13 Central Fairfield
  •  Saturday, December 16 at Cockhedge Asda between 10am and 2pm.
  •  Monday, December 18 at Carrington Park/Rylands Drive.

Meanwhile Santa’s post-box will be open from Monday, December 4. Last posting date is Friday, December 15. Santa will reply to all letters posted between these dates, providing you remember to add your address to the letter you pop in the box at the old school.
