DEVELOPERS of a new housing estate in Great Sankey are hoping an American theme will help promote sales of the new homes.
An open day for Miller Homes’ Woodville Place development, on Lingley Green Avenue, takes place on Saturday.
And as the site, which has 200 homes on it, is on some of the land formerly used as the old American airbase, Miller has arranged for guest appearances from Uncle Sam and GI Jane as well as sweet treats including fresh candy floss and bespoke cupcakes from Warrington bakers Creative Cakes.
Samantha Johnson, sales director for Miller Homes in the north west, said: “We have been eagerly awaiting this opening of our latest development.
“We are proud to be able to show home hunters in Warrington just how much Woodville Place has to offer using our stunning new show homes.
“The area is steeped in so much history and we look forward to welcoming visitors who want to learn more.”
This event will include the launch of a Jura (five bed detached) and Buchan (four bed detached) house type.
