A MISSING man from Great Sankey has been found 'safe and well' in Scotland.
Mark Smith, 52, was reported missing shortly after 4pm yesterday, Sunday.
The last confirmed sighting of Mark, of Haig Avenue, had been at 10.27am on Sunday when he was seen boarding a train from Warrington Bank Quay to Glasgow.
Officers had been 'extremely concerned' for his welfare, but Cheshire Police have now confirmed that he has been found 'safe and well' in Scotland.
A spokesman said: "Cheshire Police are pleased to confirm that missing Warrington man Mark Smith has now been found.
"Officers would like to thank the public and the media for their support during the investigation."
