Mums and sons swap places on the football pitch
MUMS who spend their weekends watching their sons play football at Crosfields FC have started their own team.
And their families could not be more proud after Crosfields Ladies took joint second place in their first competition with Cheshire FA.
Mum-of-two Helen Atkinson, from the team, said: “It’s great to be able to share our sons’ passion for football with them. None of us had ever played before. It’s really good fun.”
