THE bulldozers have begun to pull down some of the most recognisable remaining parts of the old Warrington Market Hall.
Work started today, Tuesday, on removing the old signs on the building which backs onto Academy Way.
The old hall is being demolished to make way for the Bridge Street Project which will see a new cinema, market hall, shops and restaurants on the site.
A temporary market next to the old site opened earlier this year while building work takes place.
The demolition began last month and is expected to be complete within weeks.
