A MOVING ceremony took place in Lymm on Sunday to mark Remembrance events.
Lymm Rugby Club held a short Remembrance Sunday ceremony before matches were played at the Crouchley Lane venue, for the mini, junior and colts teams.
More than 200 girls, boys, parents and grandparents on Sunday listened to the poem ‘In Flanders Field’ by John McCrae, then stood for two minutes silence at 11am, with the whole country.
Chairman of Lymm RFC’s mini and junior section Andy Leach officiated.
