A DISCOUNT chain has launched its first clearance store in the UK near to the town centre.
Bargain Buys reopened its Riverside Retail Park outlet as a clearance store on Saturday, November 11, after a week of renovation work.
The new store offers up to 50 per cent off the original price of some stocks, with half price deals including a 5ft Christmas tree for £10, a 2.4m inflatable light-up Father Christmas for £15, a kids’ electric scooter for £40, a Hoover vacuum cleaner for £34.50 and a Russell Hobbs toast for £10.
Area manager Jamie Barley said: “As our customers that have shopped with us over the past few years will know, we’ve always offered products with us over the amazing value – however, local shoppers haven’t seen anything yet.
“It’s simply not possible for us to offer the products at the prices we’re going to be selling them at across all of our stores as we have limited availability of many of the products.
“Therefore, we’re only opening a couple of clearance stores across the country, with Warrington being the first.
“We’re expecting the store to be incredibly popular when it relaunches, therefore we’d urge people to pop along to see the bargains for themselves as soon as they can.”
