THIS is the scene of a serious crash near Daresbury in which the bonnet and bumper were ripped off a family car when it smashed into a tree.
A seriously injured eight-year-old boy was taken to Alder Hey Hospital and North West Ambulance staff said when they arrived the child was very distressed.
A police spokesman confirmed the boy has now been discharged.
