NOT Going Out funny man Tim Vine is bringing his stand-up tour to Parr Hall next year.

Tim will be presenting his Sunset Milk Idiot routine at the Parr Hall on March 1 promising silliness, homemade props and daft ditties.

Tim said: “The following subjects will be touched upon briefly: Pixie football, ice cream and nibble feeders. So come along, sit down, and laugh.

“The quantity won't let up. This is comedy without a message. Sunsets are in the sky, milk's nice and I’m an idiot."

Tim appeared in five series of the award-winning sitcom Not Going Out alongside Lee Mack, played Beach the Butler in series two of Blandings with Timothy Spall and Jennifer Saunders, and has appeared on Live at the Apollo and QI.

A man of many talents, he has also won Celebrity Mastermind, hosted ITV game show Don’t Blow the Inheritance, been a regular on Countdown’s Dictionary Corner and appeared on Comic Relief takeovers of Fame Academy, Let’s Dance and Let’s Play Darts, as well as popping up on a Downton Abbey spoof.

While on Celebrity Total Wipeout he famously fell off everything.

In 2010 and 2014 Tim won the Dave TV channel award for ‘Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe’, the only person to have won it twice.

The Parr Hall is fast gaining a reputation as a comedy destination with Bill Bailey, Jason Manford and Sarah Millican all booked to perform in the months ahead.

Tickets are £23.50. Visit pyramidparrhall.com or call 442345.
