Delays on the M62 this morning, Thursday
DRIVERS are facing delays on the M62 and the M6 this morning after two separate crashes.
Delays of around an hour were being reported on the M62 after a crash near to junction 11 at Birchwood.
The road was closed but the vehicles have now been moved to the hard shoulder at around 7.10am.
Delays were around 40 minutes at 8.30am and stretch back to junction eight at Burtonwood.
Meanwhile on the M6 a southbound accident between Newton and Croft, junction 21A, means half hour queues for drivers going through that stretch.
Again, the vehicles are now on the hard shoulder.
