IN the mood to grab a bargain?

Budget hotel chain Travelodge has just released 250,000 rooms for £29 or less across its 552 hotels over the festive season this year.

Rooms can be booked on the Travelodge website from today, Wednesday to January 7, 2018. 

A spokesman added: "It’s a great opportunity to keep the children entertained, meet up with family and friends or treat your partner to a special festive romantic break."

A Travelodge family room caters for two adults and two children meaning a £29 room works out at £9.60 per person.

All rates are subject to availability at the time of booking and may not be available at every hotel, every night. 

Room offer excludes New Year’s Eve.
