HUNDREDS of customers descended on Bents Garden and Home to celebrate the launch of the store’s Christmas stock.
To mark the official opening of the new festive displays, visitors followed the Christmas star, designed by competition winner 10-year-old Alisha Ward, into this year’s magical wonderland.
Matthew Bent, managing director, said: “Christmas has been a part of our family business for as long as I can remember and this year it is even more special for us as we are celebrating our 80th anniversary so we hope it’s going to be one to remember.”
There is lots more planned at Bents in the run up to Christmas including Father Christmas’ official arrival on Saturday November 11, festive food lovers weekend on November 18 and 19 and Bents’ family fun weekend on December 8 and 9.
