YOUNG twins and triplets have completed a sponsored walk to raise hundreds of pounds for charity.

Mad About Multiples, a group for families with twins and triplets, held the toddle waddle at Walton Hall and Gardens on Friday, October 6.

The walk was completed by dozens of youngsters, from babies to preschool toddlers, and raised a total of £445 for charity Tamba’s Big Research Appeal – smashing their target of £150.

Most of the families who are part of the Mad About Multiples group have been helped by Tamba, with their research aiming to help prevent prematurity and health conditions relating to twins and triplets.

Group member Amy Nolan said: “It was a really lovely day enjoyed by all, and we hope the money will help Tamba to continue its brilliant work with families of multiples.”
