VIKINGS, dragons and knights in chain metal suits roamed the town centre streets as part of the medieval market festival.
The event included historical re-enactments, fire dancers and Hemlock the dragon who was popular with children.
More than 50 stalls selling fantasy-inspired products were on sale at the market.
The Knights of Failsworth appeared at the event on Saturday and there was live medieval-inspired music.
A Viking longboat was on show and delighted children were invited to ride on an animatronic dragon. The festival was organised by Mark and Andrea Olly.
