PUPILS at St Joseph’s Primary have been practicing their recipe skills in a new mud pie kitchen built at the school over the summer holidays.
Parents and teachers helped create the outdoor play station by donating pans, utensils and even an old microwave oven to make the messy kitchen look authentic.
Youngsters Phoebe Linaker and Samuel Staniford, pictured, were some of the first children to pop on their aprons and get to work on creating their own mud-inspired recipes at the Walton Avenue school.
