A BABY loss charity has raised more than £6,000 with its first summer ball.
Harry and Co’s black tie event at the Village Hotel on Saturday, September 9, including a three-course meal and entertainment, raised a total of £6,240.94 for the charity.
Rebecca Searle, whose son William was miscarried at 19 weeks, organised the summer ball with friends.
The charity committee member said: “I’m overwhelmed with how the first summer ball went.
“It was a great success in regards to raising awareness of the charity and much-needed funds.
“Everyone I’ve spoken to has been so positive and they have expressed their excitement as to when the next ball will be.”
