STILL on a runner's high from the English Half Marathon?
Then now is the time to sign up for next year's event and if you are among the first people to register you will receive an early bird discount.
The race celebrates its tenth year in 2018 and residents can choose any distance to suit them, with a 5k race on September 14 and the WireFM mile, 10k and half marathon taking place on September 16.
The first 700 people to enter the half can snap up a place for just £20 and runners can then register for £26 until September 30.
There are also savings on spots in the 10k, 5k and WireFM mile for anyone who signs up before the end of the month.
