Zephyr to kickstart autumn concert series at Walton Hall
FRIENDS of Walton Hall Music begin their autumn series of concerts with Zephyr.
The trio, who play clarinet, bassoon and piano, will be performing in the Music Room at Walton Hall on Wednesday at 7.45 pm.
The music will be introduced by Chris Swann, a renowned tutor and conductor who has had a long association with the Warrington Competition for Young Musicians.
Chris plays the clarinet in the band alongside Helen Peller on bassoon and pianist Ian Buckle.
Music is by Mendelssohn, Poulenc and Glinka together with works by lesser known composers.
