TO mark Roald Dahl’s birthday today, inventive pupils and teachers at Birchwood Primary School dressed up as some of the popular characters from the many books written by one of the world’s biggest-selling authors.
From Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory to Fantastic Mr Fox, youngsters dressed to impress at the school on Admirals Road on what would have been his 101st birthday.
Armed with their golden tickets and marvellous medicines, children brought to life some of the characters created by the much-loved author.
