STAFF at a property services company have walked 24 miles and climbed more than 5,000ft in order to raise thousands of pounds for a disability charity.

A team of staff at Norcott Brook-based Pennington Choices tackled the three peaks of Yorkshire in order to raise £4,336 for Warrington Disability Partnership.

Employees climbed Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in just over 12 hours in aid of the Sankey Bridges-based charity.

Mark Seaborn, marketing director at Pennington Choices, said: “I’m very proud of our team’s dedication and achievement.

“Warrington Disability Partnership is a fantastic charity which we have continued to support over the years.

“Our fundraising reached over £2,000, so we decided to match this and bring our total raised to £4,336.”
