A BAND whose music is inspired by styles from all over the world will be launching Live at St Wilfrid’s autumn series of concerts next week.

Kosmos Trio will be performing at St Wilfrid’s Church in Church Lane, Grappenhall, on Thursday, September 14.

Made up of violin, viola and accordion, the group blend Middle Eastern, East European and Western classical music traditions.

Their diverse performance in Grappenhall is set to include An Hungarian Dance by Brahms, Ziguenerweisen by Sarasate and some Scottish fiddling by Peppe.

Live at St Wilfrid’s has also teamed up with The Cavatina Trust to give young people in the Warrington area more access to the arts.

Up to 50 free tickets are available for the concert for those aged between eight and 25.
