COMEDIAN Charlie Hale will be among the millions tuning into the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor super-fight this weekend.

The Cinnamon Brow funnyman has become friends with Mayweather after meeting the boxer during his UK tours.

And he can only see the multi-million pound bout going one way when the pair lock horns in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday.

Charlie, who was also friends with Muhammad Ali, said: "I am looking forward to it and will be watching it at home.

"I think Conor will get disqualified as I think Floyd will frustrate him.

"I think he will be holding and wrestling by round nine and it will get stopped.

"If the fight is in the ring Floyd wins and if it is in the cage Conor wins – it is as simple as that.

"People are surprised by how fast Floyd is, I think he will have far too much for Conor.

"If Floyd gets beat it puts such a big dent in the sport of boxing.

"As a friend, I would also be hurt and disappointed if he lost.

"Floyd believes he is the best ever but in my opinion Ali is the best.

"When you get Floyd on his own away from the camera he is a nice guy, it is an image.

"I have done a few tours with him and look forward to him coming to the UK again soon."

The Black Horse Inn on Old Liverpool Road is currently the only pub to have an extended licence approved by the council to show the fight.

The licence will run until 8am.
