Air ambulance called to crash between motorbike and car
THE air ambulance was called to the scene of a crash between a car and a motorcycle on Calver Road near Pure Gym today, Monday.
Paramedics and police were called at around 11.55am after reports of an accident involving a blue BMW and a motorbike.
Police closed Calver Road and Cromwell Avenue but area has since been reopened.
The man riding the motorbike has been taken to Aintree Hospital in an air ambulance after suffering serious injuries.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
