HUNDREDS of pounds were raised during a summer festival hosted by Trans Warrington.
The team raised more than £250 during a teddy bear auction at the Town Hall on August 5.
The event was organised to help raise money for the mayor's charities and raise awareness of the transgender community in the town.
Michelle Winstanley, who chairs Trans Warrington said: "We had lovely sunny weather and everyone enjoyed the day.
"We had live music, a kids' zone and we had everyone up dancing – well nearly everyone.
"It also helped to raise the profile of the group."
