Budding firefighters invited to see if they've got what it takes at recruitment event
BUDDING firefighters are invited to a taster day to find out more about the job at Warrington Fire Station on Wednesday.
Anyone interested in a full time career with Cheshire Fire can drop in to speak to the crew and learn more about what it takes to work in emergency situations.
The service welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including women and ethnic minorities.
Visitors will also be able to have a go at the physical tests in a specially designed pod.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm at the Winwick Road station and people should spend an hour at the centre to get the most out of the facilities.
