SHUTTLE buses will ferry revellers to and from the town centre to Creamfields during this year’s festival.

Coaches will run to the festival from Warrington Bus Interchange every hour from 9am to 7pm on Thursday, August 24, and Friday, August 25.

Buses will then operate to and from the site over the weekend – from 9am on Saturday, August 26, until 1pm on Monday, August 28.

Tickets are priced at £3.50 for a single or £7 for a return, and are available in advance online or by paying cash on the day.

Network Warrington will also run shuttle buses from Stevenson Square in Manchester city centre, priced at £6 for a single or £12 return – although these must be booked in advance.

Managing director Ben Wakerley said: “Festival season is upon us and we’re pleased to be playing our part to help the thousands of festival goers making the journey to Creamfields for the August bank holiday.

“The frequency of our buses and the highly competitive price is a winning combination, and will also help to ease the anticipated traffic congestion in the area over the weekend.

“We hope everyone has a brilliant time at Creamfields next week – I’ve got my glow sticks and sun cream at the ready.”
