POLICE have arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of using threatening behaviour towards ambulance staff in the town centre on Friday night.
Officers confirmed he remains in custody and will appear at magistrates' court on Monday morning.
A number of arrests have been made after separate incidents across the town today, Saturday.
In the early hours a 41-year-old man was taken into custody near Warburton Bridge charged with failing to provide a driving licence or insurance.
A little later a 31-year-old man was arrested on Academy Way in the town centre for allegedly committing a racially aggravated public order offence.
And at around 7.50pm police were called to Warrington Central Station after reports of a 43-year-old man behaving aggressively.
British Transport Police took the man into custody.
Later, in a separate incident, officers seized a van on Manchester Road after the driver failed to provide insurance.
