DO you take the best selfie in Warrington?

After we were flooded with entries last year, we're now on the lookout for our 2017 Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian.

The two winners will pick up a £75 gift card each to spend at Golden Square shopping centre as well as a professional photoshoot with the Warrington Guardian.

Last year's Miss Warrington Guardian winner Rachel Berwick says taking the 2016 title 'changed her life' after winning Miss Cheshire North and making it to the finals of Miss British Isles in the past 12 months.

The 26-year-old from Birchwood added: "Winning Miss Warrington Guardian opened a lot of doors for me and gave me lots more confidence.

"I was even recognised while I was out shopping with people coming up to me and saying 'Aren't you Miss Warrington Guardian?'

"I would tell anyone to go for it this year as it's definitely worth it. Just believe in yourself and dreams can come true."

And modelling appears to run in the family as her biggest fan and four-year-old son Charlie has recently won modelling competition Little Allstars.

Rachel, who dresses up as a Disney princess in her spare time for charity events, added: "I just sent in a picture the same way I did for Miss Warrington Guardian and then found out he had won out of 8,000 children.

"He's putting me to shame now as he's just had a casting for Hollyoaks too."

Rachel won readers' votes alongside Mr Warrington Guardian Kyle Goodier.

The 22-year-old roofer from Orford added: "I was quite proud when I won it. It made me feel like I was good looking!

"My family and friends all like to have a little joke with me about it and say things like 'What are you wearing tonight Mr Warrington Guardian?'

"But I'm looking forward to handing the title to the next person and wish them all the best."

To enter, send us a selfie with your name, age and the area of Warrington you live.
