A FAMILY is celebrating after welcoming a fifth generation into the world.
Jack Lythgoe, from Howley, became a great-great-grandad at the age of 83 on Wednesday, July 16, when his 18-year-old great-granddaughter Chloe Lythgoe, from Latchford gave birth to son Noah Smith.
Jack's 59-year-old son Ray Lythgoe, from Padgate, and his 37-year-old daughter Stacey Corry, from Whitecross, mean that the family currently has five generations living in the town.
Elaine Lythgoe, Ray’s wife, said: ”We’ve just become great-grandparents which is really exciting for us.
“Jack is Warrington born and bred, and he’s made up that he’s now a great-great-grandad.”
