TO mark festival season in the UK, staff and residents at a care home in Burtonwood put on their dancing shoes for their own celebration.
The Old Vicarage on Fir Tree Lane hosted a music festival with live entertainment from singers Callum Wroe and Sioned Roberts and the band The Unknown.
Tracey McKeegan, activities coordinator, said: “We figured that all the younger generation go to Glastonbury and V Festival so why not bring a festival to our care home in Warrington and let our residents experience a little taste of festival life.
“The residents and families were delighted with how the day went and how much their loved ones enjoyed the music.”
