POLICE say a group of men wearing balaclavas and motorcycle helmets raided a pub in Birchwood on Sunday night.
The 'violent disorder' took place at the Nelson's Quarterdeck on Admirals Road around 8.40pm.
Officers say a large number of people entered wearing balaclavas and motorcycle helmets covering their faces and carrying weapons.
One of the offenders picked up a stool and threw it across the bar before all leaving on foot towards Halliday Close where it is believed they got into a vehicle before driving away.
All the offenders are described as wearing dark clothing and being between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 10ins tall.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 846 of 23 July.
