POLICE investigating an alleged assault at Haydock Park racecourse have issued an image of a woman they believe can help with their enquiries.
During a music concert at the venue a 41-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman reported that they had been assaulted after a scuffle had broken out.
The man reported he had been assaulted by another man and the woman is believed to have sustained an eye injury after being assaulted by a woman.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of s47 assault and has since been released under investigation.
The incident happened at around 10pm during a performance by The Jacksons at Haydock Park on Friday, July 7.
Officers have issued an image of a woman who they believe could help them with their enquiries.
If anyone recognises the woman they are urged to contact officers on 0151 7776041.
