WE have been checking the weather forecast all day but it looks like thunderstorms, which were sweeping across the south of the country last night, are now heading for Warrington.
The Met Office is currently predicting the level of rainfall over Warrington at 7pm this evening will be something like this...
A yellow warning of rain is also in place until 11.55pm this evening.
A spokesman added: "Further, possibly severe, thunderstorms may break out again this afternoon and evening, probably focused over parts of northeast Wales, central and northern England.
"Although some places will miss the thunderstorms, there is a chance of localised sudden flooding of homes, businesses and roads.
"Frequent lightning and large hail may be additional hazards, the latter bringing potential for disruption to power networks."
Currently over Warrington, it looks like the worst of the weather will be between 6 and 7pm.
