Investigations continue
A MAN was arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in the town centre last night, Friday.
It is alleged that the man was caught on a CCTV camera while in the process of assaulting a woman, on Horsemarket Street, at around 9pm.
At 12.50am today police also arrested a man, on Bridge Street, on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled drug of class A.
It is alleged that a CCTV camera caught him in the process of consuming the drug in the street.
