A LYMM schoolboy got the chance to meet an Olympic hero after completing a 107 km ride around Cheshire.
Finn Oakley, 12, was congratulated in person by Sir Chris Hoy for completing the Hoy 100 on July 2.
Finn took part, along with dad Tim, and was one of only a few children to take part in the event which started at Arley Hall near Appleton Thorn.
The initiative, sponsored by Evans Cycles, aims to get kids on their bikes and find the next Olympic champions. Chris said: "I could never have done such a distance at Finn's age, well done."
