POLICE have uncovered a cannabis factory in Penketh.
Officers made the discovery yesterday, Wednesday, but detectives remain at the scene while investigations continue.
Police descended on a property on Newlyn Gardens shortly before 1.30pm following intelligence from members of the public.
When officers arrived at the scene, a number of plants were discovered and seized.
